Breathe Easier This Season
As spring arrives, so do blooming
flowers—and unfortunately, seasonal
allergies. Sneezing, itchy eyes, congestion,
and fatigue can make this beautiful time of
year feel overwhelming. In Traditional
Chinese Medicine (TCM), these symptoms
are often related to imbalances in the Lung,
Spleen, and Wei Qi (defensive energy).
Acupuncture and herbal medicine work
together to strengthen your body’s natural
defenses, helping you respond more
effectively to environmental triggers rather
than simply masking symptoms.
How Acupuncture Helps Allergies
Acupuncture focuses on restoring balance
and supporting your immune system.
Treatments during allergy season may help:
- Reduce nasal congestion and sinus pressure
- Calm inflammation and histamine response
- Improve energy and reduce brain fog
- Strengthen Lung and Spleen function
Many patients find that regular treatments
not only relieve current symptoms but also
reduce the severity of allergies over time.
Seasonal Self-Care Tips
Support your body between treatments with these simple habits:
- Keep windows closed on high pollen days
- Shower and change clothes after being outdoors
- Use a saline rinse to clear nasal passages
- Avoid excessive dairy and greasy foods, which can contribute to dampness
